Hi! I’m Sophie, a multidisciplinary graphic designer with a strong focus on typography, branding, and identity design. My creative practice extends beyond the traditional boundaries of design, drawing on research, creative problem solving, and brand storytelling to build thoughtful, strategic work with purpose.

I believe design is more than visual. It’s about process, connection, and working with others to create meaningful outcomes. My goal is to craft solutions that are not only visually compelling but grounded in curiosity, clarity, and purpose.

My approach is shaped by my academic studies in Brand Design and Fashion Business at George Brown College and further informed by my hands-on experience in film production, set dressing, and garment design. I’m always looking to collaborate with like-minded creatives and to have fun while we’re at it!

WORKS

KATALOAGKataloag is a research-driven exploration of Low German Mennonites using object documentation to uncover cultural identity through design.

The restrained yet expressive identity aims to reframe overlooked craft traditions within a contemporary context.

HOGTOWN HARVEST
Hogtown Harvest is a conceptual brand identity for a Toronto-based agriculture festival that works to connect urban communities with local vendors.

This project was selected as a winner in the 2024 Applied Arts Student Awards in the Design – Series category.

GRAPHICS FOR TELEVISION
Over the past three years I have had the opportunity to work with various production designers, directors, and clients in developing on-set graphics for commercial shoots.

From signage and branded props to custom wall art and other printed materials, these pieces are designed to seamlessly support the visual storytelling of each set while aligning with the overall brand identity.

BABY’S FIRST CHEERIOS
Baby’s First Cheerios is a concept for a transformative packaging design that reimagines the classic cereal box as a functional baby rattle.

Designed for busy parents and their babies, it combines snack-time and play through an interactive, enrichment-focused design that aligns with Cheerios’ wholesome brand values.
